CheckoutScale is an independent editorial site that ranks the software direct-response sellers use to build pages and take payments: funnel builders and checkout platforms, judged for how they hold up under paid traffic.

Most software round-ups are written for people browsing a catalog. This one is written for the person spending money to send traffic to a single offer, who needs a checkout that lifts average order value, split-tests without resetting the ad platform, and can route payments when volume or risk demands it. Those are the things we weigh.

### What we cover

We track a focused shortlist of checkout and funnel platforms rather than every tool in the category. Each one gets a review, a pricing breakdown, an alternatives guide and, where it earns one, a head-to-head. The [ranking](/best) is the hub that ties them together.

### How we work

We do not run these platforms on live campaigns. For each tool we read the vendor's own documentation and pricing pages, verify the numbers, and weigh them against what long-term users report on Reddit, G2, Capterra and Trustpilot. Our full method is on the [methodology page](/methodology).
